Presenting the first spy photos of the new Super Tenere 1200 in alternative production model officially confirmed by Super Tenere launch concept at Tokyo Motor Show 2009.
Photographs, we present a model smaller scale, were obtained by Yamaha and one employee were published on the website motorsite.gr Greek. Although this was a plastic model, it reveals a possible final form of the model series, which will be released in 2010, with a design similar to the younger brother XT 660 Z Tenere.
Super Tenere 1200 will be powered by an engine with two cylinders in line 1200cmc will be final by cardan transmission, radiator mounted on the side and will be equipped with technologies such as traction control, ride-by-wire throttle, ABS with 3 levels and unified braking system (UBS).
