Triumph launches new Sprint 1050 GT

Foto ©: Triumph Five years after market launch of Sprint's Sport Tourer ST Hinckley British manufacturer launches Sprint GT, a new model that focuses on touring side in this category.

That does not mean that the new Sprint GT lost sportsmanship, qualities which one of the Sprint ST has made one of the most popular models in the Triumph range.

Triumph design team's objective was to achieve a motorcycle that improve the practical side of the turn, but Sprint ST without a Tourer easily. Opinions clients, especially the owners of the Sprint ST has played an important role in developing the new model.

 




Sprint GT comes equipped with standard side bags and ABS 31 liters and it comes with an improved design, changes distinguishing himself especially at the front of the new lighthouse.

Optionally available is a Topcem equipped with a 12v outlet. 43mm inverted fork received new components internal wheelbase has been increased by 80mm for better stability and underseat final evacuation was replaced with one side, resulting in the appearance of a storage room under it. Performance is assured by an enhanced version of the legendary three-cylinder propulsion 1.050cmc, which now has a power of 130cp at 9200 rpm, with 5cp more, and a torque of 108 Nm achieved at 6300 rpm from 105 Nm at 7500 rpm. According to the British manufacturer, 20-liter tank provides a range of at least 300km.

Triumph Sprint 2011 GT will be available at a price of 9.499 pounds in two color versions, Pacific Blue and Aluminium Silver.
