Swiss specialists from Suter Racing, along with Italian manufacturer Paton, will introduce a GP bike equipped with two-stroke V4 engine.
Suter Racing is a great racing experience in the production of prototypes, with the active participation in the MotoGP World Championship in 2007, with prototype Ilmor X3. Now the Swiss are preparing to begin on a new prototype Moto2 championship. At the company was Eskil Suter, former lead GP in classes 500 and 250.
Suter SRT 500 prototype was exhibited at the Milan EICMA saloon in 2009. It has a chassis similar to that used by Ilmor X3 and is a real GP bike, weighing 125kg and available with 200 HP two-stroke engine developed by V4 of 500cmc.
"There was never a motorcycle performance market 500cmc two-stroke V4 engine. I wanted to build a motorcycle 500cmc that anyone can buy, "said Sutter or project. Former MotoGP prototype pilot says he will feel like a tractor compared with their product.
With a base price of 50,000 Euros, SRT 500 V4 is not just for anyone but is infinitely more accessible than any MotoGP bike. Clients can add as many optional carbon rims, forks and specification SBK titanium exhaust system, reaching the final amount to 90,000 Euro.
