Russian designer Michael Smolyanov managed to create one of the most eco-frendly motorcycles, built almost entirely of organic materials.
Hard to believe that we will ever see anything like that in reality does not mean that I Org Chopper is an interesting idea.
The concept that organic motorcycles made computer looks weird or phenomenal, remains the choice of the viewer (points more than Avatar, right?). Michael Smolensky thinks an organic substance to achieve the frame, suspension and steering of certain components of which will be appreciated by ecologists.
However, the engineering perspective, things would be better if Michael would not give us the solution for a stronger structure and a minimized weight: organic elements are undergoing a process of fluoridizare particular, which synthesizes carbon, achieving Such pieces of carbon fiber. Indeed, a science fiction idea.
The engine, however, seems not fiction, since this is a relatively classic V-twin - since talk of eco-friendly, designer probably thinks propeller powered by a biofuel will be all green (although electric propulsion solution seems more appropriate for a possible future model).
Either way things stand, I Org Chopper concept is almost a piece of artwork. What would be surprising to give them ideas of motorcycle customization industry - are the boys from OCC American Chopper saw Russian designer creation?
