If you remember, when it decided to build XR 1200, the manufacturer of Milwaukee purchased from Storz Performance Inc.. in 2008 the rights to use the brand to the U.S. XR1200. Long before, Storz developed not only names but also their custom model XR 1200, based on Sportster models.

To build this model from the Storz XR went from a standard 1200. The suspension was improved by a fork inverted Storz / Ceriani 55mm and a set of shock absorbers YSS, discharges were replaced with some high dirt-track style, cast wheels are gone in favor of hospitals stainless steel rims and stem of lost for passenger and light primt a smaller stop.

Moreover, Storz added lace front 330mm discs, dropped the final transmission belts, replacing it with a chain and replaced with high handlebars semighidoane lower. All these changes have resulted in a reduction of their weight with 15kg (standard 1200 XR weighs 250kg to load).

Steve Storz, company owner, said: "XR 1200 is a decent bike in standard form, but in my opinion needs help in two chapters: the suspension and its own mass. I solved the problem first fork inverted Storz / Ceriani and YSS shock absorbers, both a significant improvement over standard equipment. "

"The other aspect of improvement is its mass. Changing wheels, transmission of final discharges, brake disks and so we reduced the total mass of about 15 kg. Control position is obviously different and showbike's style is clearly different than our dirt track. I suppose we can call for XR style Clubman 1200. "

Storz Performance Harley-Davidson XR 1200 will be available as a model independently or as a kit.
