As officially announced at the end of last year, U.S. company Zero Motorcycles has launched on the market a new electric bike, supermoto category, only a few days after he set two world records with the Zero X.
It uses zero battery pack Li-ion and patented by the company called Z-Force. T
his helps the bike heavy 102.1 kilograms to reach a maximum speed of 96.6 km / h. The new supermoto was developed especially for the urban environment, with autonomy of 97 km, which is necessary after 4 hours of recharging from a standard 220V outlet.
Electric motor develops 31 horsepower and an impressive torque of 84.6 Nm. Frame made of aluminum rims 16 inch hospitals, inverted front forks, and the modern design complete offer U.S. manufacturers.
The Zero electric supermoto S 2009 is approved for street use and costs 9950 USD. Now they will start deliveries in May this year only in the United States of America, but we are convinced that will soon arrive in Europe.
