Although the official launch will be at EICMA 2009 in November, official photos have already appeared newly Ducati Hypermotard accompanied by some 796 essential technical information.
Younger brother's Hypermotard weighs 167 kilograms in 1100 empty weight obtained due to the new L-Twin engine Desmodue but redesigned frame with fewer elements forged.
Hypermotard 796's saddle height is 825 mm, 20 mm lower than in the case of Hypermotard 1100. Propulsorul is a new one to meet Euro 3 pollution standards, developing 81 horsepower (59.6 kW) and maximum torque of 75.5 Nm.
The motorcycle is equipped with APTC wet clutch that is designed to prevent rear wheel slippage when aggressive change in speed and lower gears while contributing to the degree of comfort through congested urban traffic.
Ducati Hypermotard 796 will be available starting with the end of this year in three colors, the following basic client have a final price of 7990 euros. We will come back with complete information in November after its official presentation at the Milan EICMA saloon.
