BMW R 1200 GS's engine become DOHC in 2010

Foto ©: Solo Moto 30 Germany's BMW prepares for next year in an R 1200 GS unchanged stylistically but rather technical, its engine cylinder heads will receive HP2 Sport model.
Famous boxer's propeller R 1200 GS is thus the transition from SOHC to DOHC received a cam axis in addition to each cylinder. The engine will meet Euro 4 emissions standards and should develop around 10 horsepower in addition to the current model.

No we are just waiting hall EICMA in November 2009 to see for sure if the rest of the BMW models 2010 (R 1200 R R 1200 ST, R 1200 RT, R 1200 S) will benefit from the 115 horsepower of Bavarian new DOHC engine.
