Foto ©: BMW Last year at the motorcycle showroom in Milan, BMW introduced a concept bike powered by a six-cylinder engine.

BMW officials have announced that should not surprise anyone if in the near future will find BMW Motorrad offers a motorcycle driven by such a unit. Now you know the name of the motorcycle to be driven by the six-cylinder engine. It will be a BMW K1600GT / GTL.

The 1649 cc engine will develop 160 hp at 7500 rpm and 175 Nm at 5,000 rpm. 70% of torque is available from 1,500 rpm. The bike will be a cocktail of electronic systems, but not all will be found as standard. Throttle control is about "ride by wire" with three programs - Rain, Road and Dynamic.

 



It will be available traction control, ABS and electronic suspension adjustment - ESA II. But perhaps one of the most successful innovations will adaptive headlights option - a first in the world of moto. This system will adjust the light spot depending on the load the motorcycle headlight, its pitch on acceleration or braking and cornering motorcycle according to inclination.
