Big Dog Motorcycles, the largest producer of custom motorcycles in the world, recently launched Dealer Expo in Indianapolis the most affordable model in the range, Chopper 2010.
The new Big Dog Chopper, maker of Wichita, Kansas - United States, returns to its beginnings, building a chopper which reminds of motorcycles due to which the company has earned a reputation. The new model will have a price around the value of 21,000 dollars and is scheduled to go into production in May 2010.
Big Dog Chopper 2010 will be powered by an engine V2 S & S 1.800cmc, mated to a Baker 6-speed transmission. After the American tradition, the bike will have a long fork with a tilt angle of 42 degrees and a rear wheel wear a 250mm tire. In addition, the back will have new suspension. It lacks advanced controls, headlamp and handlebars chrome and polished aluminum wheels.
According to the Big Dog chopper is agile and very fast, accelerates from 0 to 100 in 3.9 seconds and has a consumption of only 5.6 liters per 100km. It will be shipped from the factory with paint legendary Big Dog bike show and a wide range of custom graphic designs.
