Is no longer any secret that Aprilia has prepared a version of 'more muscular' site to supermoto Dorsoduro 750. Aprilia Dorsoduro 1200 could be admired in the showroom's Piaggio Group in Milan.
New motorcycle supermoto range will complement the manufacturer of Noale which at present consists only of Dorsoduro 750, Dorsoduro 750 Factory and SXV 4.5 SXV 5.5. Dorsoduro 1200 has a liquid-cooled engine with two cylinders in V inclined at an angle of 90 degrees.
Cylinder capacity of Dorsoduro is the new 1200 cc engine and a power that is developing 130 horsepower at 8700 rpm. Maximum torque of 115 Nm is achieved at 7200 rpm. Performance using the new propellant, Aprilia is currently leading in the category of part Dorsoduro 1200.
Gas injection is laughing-by-wire type. The chassis is similar to that used on Dorsoduro 750. Within the grid is made of steel and aluminum sub-frame is. The suspension is fully adjustable. Steering is provided by Brembo. Has two front brake discs 320 mm diameter and calipers are mounted radially and have four-piston.
Rear brake is formed by a 240 mm disc and a caliper with one pistonas. Extras included on the list and an ABS system posibiliatea optarii for a traction control system, Aprilia Traction Control (ATC for short), which is found on the system model RSV4. Dorsoduro 1200 will be presented in the final version of Moto salon Cologne (Cologne) in October.
